Configuring vendor-specific options
About this task
You can configure an option unique to an individual vendor class. This is called a vendor-
specific option (option 43).
Procedure
1. Use the
vendor-specific-option
command to create a vendor-specific option
with a unique index.
2. Use the
name
command to name the option (optional).
3. Use the
class-identifier
command to set a vendor-specific identifier.
4. Use the
value
command to set the data type and value of the vendor-specific
option.
