1. Inspection in advance
Some phenomenon are similar as failures but not failures in fact. Therefore, when cooling or
heatingperformance isnot satisfactory, eliminate the following factors first:
Phenomenon
Cause Description
When there is high ambient temperature
outside and many people or equipmentin
the room, AC works in full load, but the
room temperature can’t be lowered.
In case of high ambient temperature, infiltration heat from outside increases,
which increases the cooling load.
If there are many people or equipment in the room, the heat discharged from
people or equipment will increases cooling load.
Therefore, the cooling capacity of AC seems not enough and the room
temperature can’t be lowered. It’s normal and notfault of AC.
Air conditioner is hard to start, or keep
operating in low frequency due to low
voltage of power supply.
Check the power supply. If the voltage is too low, user should install
additional voltage stabilizer to enable the voltage reach 380V and be steady,
then the air conditioner can operate normally.
Indoor unit operates in high fan speed but
the
room can’t be cool down or heat up
fast, and the air flow volume of indoor unit
is not enough.
The filter netof indoor unit is dirty or blocked, or the air return is abnormal,
makes cooling or heating
capacity can’t be taken out by flowing air timely
and result in insufficient capacity.It can be solved by cleaning filter net and
removing the barrier on air return side.
Temperature setting on the
controller isn’t
properly and the
room can’t be cool down
or heat up fast.
The system can
’toutput full capacity is the temperature setting isn’t
properly,users can adjust thesetting temperature on the controller to solve
this problem.
Air conditioner has poor heating effect in
cold winter.
It is reasonable. The ambient temperature is very low in some area in winter,
and the heat exchange volume on outdoor side will decrease, the heating
capacity will decrease and the performance will be worse than normal. So it
is important to design the system according to actual load and local climate.
In case of heating, air isn’t blown out
immediately after the unit start up and
“Operation” indicator flickers when wired
controller is used.
Air conditioner won’t bring odor by itself, usually it is caused by high humidity
in the room, there may be something mildewed or dirty on the filter net of
indoor unit, users can clean air filtering net termly.
The temperature of indoor heat exchanger is low right after the system
starting or defrosting, the indoor unit has anti-cold air function to avoid
blowing out cool air. Please wait for several minutes.
There is mist blown out from indoor unit
If the room humidity is high, the moisture in the air will become mist when it
meet cool airflow, it is not failure and the mist will disappear after the air
conditioner operation for a while.
There is noise from the air conditioner.
The electrical expansion valveof indoor unit will expand or shrink due to air
temperature change, the sound is from the stepper motor of the valve, it is
not failure and it is common in industry.
Sound of water flow is caused by liquid refrigerant flowing in the unit.
The room smelled mildew when the air
condition is running.
