Archive Files

An archive file captures the current state of a device. An archive file can be 

added to the device list in order to view the information it contains. It can also be 

used to restore settings to a device or to clone settings for a replacement 

device.

Save Archive

This operation is initiated from the Device screen, and is used to save the device 

state to an archive file (xxx.arch). The following information is saved.

1. On the Home screen, click the icon of the IntelliSight Processor for which the 

archive file is to be created.

2. On the Device screen, in the Commands section click

3. In the Save Archive window, select where the file is to be stored.

It is a good idea to create a new folder and save the archive in that folder.

4. In the 

File name

 field, enter a name for the file or keep the default.

5. Click 

Save

.

An archive file will be saved for the IntelliSight Processor and each camera.
