Troubleshooting
19.1.
INSTALLATION TROUBLESHOOTING
The housing is accidentally twisted during placement:
•
You may need to realign the entire frame. An inability to obtain consistent measurements is an
indication of a misalignment.
The frame is twisted out of alignement:
•
Call for technical assistance. Note that it takes a great deal of torque to cause this problem, and
this is not a common issue.
19.2.
START-UP TROUBLESHOOTING
When switching on the main circuit breaker, nothing happens:
•
Check that the power supplied to the unit is 120 VAC.
When switching on the main circuit breaker, the PLC is powered on but the moving glass obstacles do
not move:
•
Check the secondary circuit breaker.
•
There may be a delay before the moving glass obstacles are powered on.
The moving glass obstacle remains opened and a buzzer sounds continuously:
•
Check that the detection photocells are not obstructed.
The moving glass obstacle is closed and a buzzer sounds continuously:
•
Intrusion in the lane: Something is detected in front of the moving glass obstacles that have not
received passage authorization.
•
Check if anything is obstructing the infrared beam of the detection photocells
