TIP - Use a fine flat bladed screwdriver to remove the front cover plate.
Next take a medium Phillips head screw driver and unscrew the two
countersunk screws.
TIP - You will find the unit will now separate into two segments. You will
notice two lithium batteries and a small jumper on the rear of the unit.
Remove the jumper from the pins and reposition it across the alternative
two pins to power the unit on. An audible beep should sound letting you
know that power is on.
TIP - The keypad by default is in STANDARD20 mode which is compatible with
older transmitters and receivers but needs changing to ROLLING CODE for
newer systems.
To change to ROLLING CODE enter –
“00000 + OK + 99999 + OK + 6” (NB: No beep on second OK)
TIP - Remove the cover from your receiver or main control board if your receiver is inbuilt. You should now have
access to the programming buttons. Decide on a four digit PIN number. Next press and release the programming
button “P1” on the control board or receiver. A red LED will light – go out and light again to put the receiver into
learn mode. In the next ten seconds key in your four digit PIN and OK on the keypad. The red LED on the control
board will go out indicating the receiver has accepted the code and exited programming mode.
TIP - You can now test your pin number. Put keypad back together and mount.
TIP - Repeat the exercise for other codes.
