You may find it useful if you want to present a selection of animated scenes contained in a range of different
model files.
To add an action

If the Scripter window is not already open, select Tools
➤
Scripter from the menu bar.

Select the desired script in the tree view.

Click the desired action icon at the bottom of the actions view. For example, click
to add a play animation
action.

Review the action properties in the properties view, and
To test an action

If the Scripter window is not already open, select Tools
➤
Scripter from the menu bar.

Select the desired script in the tree view.

Right-click the actions view, and click Test Action on the shortcut menu.
Navisworks executes the selected action.
To delete an action

If the Scripter window is not already open, select Tools
➤
Scripter from the menu bar.

Select the desired script in the tree view.

Right-click the action you want to delete in the actions view, and click Delete Action.
Enable Scripting
To enable animation scripts in your file, you need to click the Toggle Scripts
button on the Animation
toolbar.
You can now interact with your model.
NOTE
When the scripts are enabled, you can't create or edit scripts in the Scripter window. To disable scripting, click
again.
