Use the Select Connected Branches command to select all components of a duct run, or a portion of the
duct run.
■
Use a bounding box to select a group of objects, and use the Properties palette to modify settings for a
particular part type.
To select connected branches

Select a duct or fitting.

Click [Duct, Duct Flex, or Duct Fitting] tab

to cycle through the connection options.

When the desired branch is highlighted, press
enter

Repeat the preceding 2 steps to select other branches, even if they are not connected to the
original duct system.

to select the branches.
To filter selections in the Properties palette

Use a bounding box to select multiple objects.

In the Properties palette, on the Design tab, select the part type from the drop-down list at the
top.

Edit the part properties available for that part type.
To deselect objects

Modifying Components Using Grips
You can use grips to quickly and accurately modify any component in a duct system. With associative
movement, you can also change locations for parts in a duct run while maintaining connectivity with the
rest of the system.
There are several grips you can use to modify components:

rotate a part around a duct centerline; also
flip parts in place, usually to orient a part for
flow direction
