Moving, Rotating, & Resizing Entities

(optional) If you selected Rectangle in step 3, you can check the Align with
Grid check box on the edit bar to align the symbol array to a rectangular
grid.

On the Gap drop-down list located on the edit bar, click either No Gaps,
Middle Gaps, or All Gaps.

No Gaps means that as the extent of the symbol is reached, AutoSketch
places another instance of the symbol.
■
Middle Gaps means that symbols are spaced evenly along the length of
the entity with symbols at the startpoint and endpoint.
■
All Gaps means that symbols are spaced evenly along the length of the
entity with gaps at the startpoint and endpoint.

Enter a value in the Minimum Spacing X and Minimum Spacing Y text
boxes on the edit bar. These are the increments of length that must be
drawn before AutoSketch inserts each instance of the symbol. The default
is the extent of the symbol.

(optional) Enter a value in the Scaling Factor text box on the edit bar, then
check the Scaling Factor check box. When this check box is checked,
symbols are scaled proportionately. When it is unchecked, you must enter
separate height and width scaling factors.

Draw the entity you selected in step 4.
To arrange selected entities in a pattern
1
Select a single entity or multiple entities.

On the Edit menu, click Transform, Rubber Stamp Array. The pointer
changes to a drawing tool and controls appear on the edit bar.

On the Entity Type drop-down list on the edit bar, click Line Single,
2 Points and Angle Arc, Center, Side Circle, or Rectangle.
