Using the 1-way Companion remote
This remote control performs a limited set of system commands as
shown in the previous table. As a 1-way, it only transmits without
providing feedback. Siren chirps and parking light flashes are used
to indicate that a command has been received and activated as de-
scribed in the
Basic
Commands
and
Advanced Commands
sections.
Accessing Commands
Similar to the Responder LSC remote, basic commands are performed
when a command button is pressed directly. To perform advanced
commands
press
the AUX button first followed by a command button
or hold a command button for at least two seconds depending upon
which command you wish to perform. See function table on previous
page for commands that can be performed with this remote control.

Silent Arm
Press

The alarm arms, doors lock (if connected), and the parking lights flash
once. The arm LED turns on to confirm. valet mode* or trigger zone
fault report** messages may be received.
Silent Disarm
Press
and
release
then
The alarm disarms, doors unlock (if connected), and the parking lights
flash twice. The disarm LED turns on to confirm. The silent disarm out-
put may be replaced by the alarm report**.
