Port Configuration
The page
Port configuration
is only visible in the configuration wizard if a COMpact 2BRI
module is plugged in and at least one port is configured for the operating mode
ISDN external
.
An external S
0
port can be used for the following types of connections:
• PTMP connection
: ISDN PTMP connection with up to ten multiple subscriber numbers
(MSNs).
• PTP connection
: ISDN PTP connection with PBX base number and Direct Dial In numbers
(DDI numbers).

Basic Settings
For some of its functions (e. g. Call Through, call restrictors, call deblockers), the PBX needs
the prefixes of its location.
The exchange line access number is needed to request an external line (exception: Direct
Exchange Line Telephone).

Public Switched Telephone Networks
The configuration wizard allows you to configure the PBX for four different types of connec-
tions. Which connection type is offered for selection depends on the plugged in module type.
