Connecting Devices to the 2TSM (R) Module

Connecting a Device for Alarm Functions

Requirements:

•

Installation cable (e. g. J-Y(St)Y 2x2x0.6) with the following character-
istics:

At least two wires

–

Unscreened; however: screened for unfavourable conditions, for
example, near a strong transmitter or an electrical power line

1. Lay the lines.

Warning:

Power surges, which can occur during electrical

storms, can cause life-threatening electric shocks or damage
or destroy the PBX.

Do not open an already connected PBX during an electrical
storm. Also avoid disconnecting and connecting electrical

The alarm functions of the PBX do not comply with

the safety-related requirements regarding alarm systems for
the protection of life and limb.

Only use the PBX for simple monitoring tasks without
safety-related requirements.
