SIM Card Reading

Handle the SIM cards carefully without touching their golden contacts in order to avoid dam-
aging the cards or get their contacts dirty.
Keep the SIM cards away from small children.
Never open the SIM card slot cover in the base bottom without disconnecting the telephone
line. You can touch the circuit board inside and this could be dangerous while the telephone
line is connected.
Be careful when you enter the PIN of your SIM card. If you fail to do so for a certain number
of times (three times usually), the card will be locked and you will have to enter PUK code
(provided by your mobile service provider) in your cellular phone in order to restore the nor-
mal use of your SIM card.
With this feature you can copy the contents of your mobile phone's SIM card phonebook into the
phonebook of your COMfortel DECT 650C.
1. Disconnect the tele-
phone line (for security
reasons as above
stated).

slot cover in the bottom
of the base by moving
downward the SIM card
latch (see point [18] in

the cover and keep it.
3. Remove the SIM card
from your cellular phone
by following the instructions stated in its user's manual.
4. Carefully slide the SIM card inside the base slot keeping the smoothed corner on bottom left
(see the picture) and the golden contacts toward the slot ones. Make sure that the SIM card slides
