This section describes how to take incoming calls and how to make calls yourself. The
telephone number you use can come directly out of the telephone book or can be dialled
from one of the telephone number lists. In this section, you will also learn how to change the
volume during a call as well as how to turn off the microphone and how to transmit to a PBX.
Receiving Calls
If the telephone number of the caller has
been entered in the telephone book on your
telephone, as soon as the telephone
detects the telephone number , the
telephone number along with the
associated name are shown on the display.
The prerequisite for displaying the
telephone number is that the caller has not
suppressed the display of his telephone
number or that he has approved
transmission of the telephone number.

Enter the telephone number.

Press keys 0...9 for digits 0...9.

character * or #.
Dialling with Dial Preparation
Dial preparation – first dialling and then
picking up the receiver – enables you to
check the telephone number entered and, if
necessary, to correct it before the
connection is established.

Enter the telephone number.

Press keys 0...9 for digits 0...9.

Press the * key or # key to enter the
character * or #.
Note: You can use the Del key to
delete the previous digit if necessary.

Initiate a call.

Dialling using Redial
The last 15 telephone numbers your have
dialled are saved in redial memory.
1.
Press the Redial key .
The last telephone number dialled is
displayed.

Use the arrow keys to scroll to the
entry you want.
