The Instant Messaging app allows you to send and receive instant
messages.

Important:

Instant messaging is only available on the PBXs COMpact

4000, COMpact 5000/R and COMmander 6000/R/RX. The PBXs must
be running a firmware version as of 6.4A to support this app.

Configuring the Instant Messaging App

the dialogue to configure the app will appear automatically before you write
the first instant message.

Proceed as follows:

Using the telephone

1. Tap on

Apps >

Instant Messaging

2. Tap on

. Alternatively, press the

Menu key

and tap on

Settings

3. In the

Send via account

list field, select the account you wish to use to

send the instant messages.

4. In the

Send via number

list field, select the number.

5. In the

Notification tone

list field, select the desired notification tone.
