2.2 Typical
Application
2.2.1 Random Select Mode
Using up to four (4) momentary switches, each video source may be
selected randomly and routed to the monitor, up to the number of video
sources as configured by DIP switches 3 and 4. When a random select
switch is activated and released, the corresponding video source is
selected. Optionally, a briefer activate toggle switch may be installed.
Upon activation, the video source configured by DIP switches 1 and 2 is
routed to the monitor. Deactivation of the briefer activate switch causes
the previous source to be routed to the monitor. Optional status LEDs
provide a visual indication of the currently selected source. The status pin
will sink sufficient current to drive a standard LED.
