Step 1 - removing filter element:
– Carefully release retaining tab -1-, swing cover -3- towards
rear in direction of -arrow- and detach it.
– Pull filter element -4- out of aperture in direction of -arrow-.
Step 2 - installing filter element:
– Clean aperture with a vacuum cleaner before fitting new filter
element.
– Fit filter element correctly: direction of flow is indicated with
arrows on filter.
Continue installation in reverse sequence.

If the retainer -1- for the cover -3- has broken off on the air
intake box of the heating and air conditioning unit or on the
service cover, the cover can also be secured using a self-tap‐
ping screw -2- (e.g. 3.5 x 16 mm or 4.0 x 16 mm; see Electronic
parts catalogue ETKA).
