Configuration management: backing up and restoring
Digiplexer settings can be saved so as to be applied to a different unit, for instance. In that case, once
connected to the other unit, simply “restore”.
Select the “Configuration management” tab.
Select the directory in which the backup file will be saved and click “Backup” at the bottom of the
screen.
When using the remote application, by default, the backup file (‘.aud’ extension) will be saved in the
directory: C:\Documents and Settings\
user_name
\Digiplexer
version_number
\backups.
When using the front panel application, the backup file can only be saved onto a USB key (a USB port
is available on the front panel).
