Using SMS
SMS is a service that uses phone numbers as addresses to
exchange messages between cell phones.
Creating and sending an SMS
You can send a message (text of mail) using kanji, hiragana,
katakana, alphanumerics, symbols, smileys, and emoticons.
When sending is complete, you know that the SMS has
reached the other party.

In the home screen, [Apps] → [SMS] →
[Create new]
Creating SMS screen appears.

Alternatively, tap "Input Phone No." to directly enter an
address.

You can send up to 70 double-byte or 160 single-byte
characters in a message.

When SMS is sent, a message appears indicating that the
other party has received the mail.
