6.  Encoder Settings Tab

In this chapter we detail the configuration controls which are used to adjust settings to achieve the encoder performance that 

is required. All GUI settings are discussed along with limits and some suggestions as to what values are most applicable 

and why. With the selection of some encoder types it will be seen that some parameters are greyed out, meaning that these 

parameters are either not relevant or are preset. Reference to DigiVu infers both DigiVu and DigiVu Mini unless specifically 

stated.

FYI: 

In this guide, reference to DigiVu infers DigiVu 3RU, DigiVu CD 3RU and DigiVu Mini 1RU 

unless the model is specifically stated. Reference to DVIS is synonymous with DigiVu as these 
products run on the same firmware.
