If you are underneath the rail, looking in drive-in di-
rection, the valve to lower the wheel free lift is posi-
tioned on the right side of the cylinder (see picture
024) close to the opening of the wheel free lift.
Remove the black cap of the valve MV4 (22) and
replace it by the screw-on cap with wing bolt (19).
The cap is first screwed on the valve and then the
valve can be opened manually by tighten the wing
bolt carefully. If necessary the wing bolt can be ad-
justed later.

Repeat this process on both sides to achieve
equal vehicle lowering.
When the two valves MV4 und MV5 of the wheel
free lift were opened using the screw-on caps
with wing bolt, the wheel free lift can be lowered
by opening control valve MV2 (22) on the aggre-
gate.
Therefore the unit cover (17) has to be removed.
The control valve MV2 is the left one of the two val-
ves (see figure 011). Again, first the black cap has
to be removed and then the screw-on cap with the
Allen screw (18) is fastened. By tightening the Allen
screw the valve MV2 is opening and the wheel freel
lift begins to lower. The lowering speed can be con-
trolled by adjusting the Allen screw.
In case of danger stop the lowering operation by
closing the valve MV2.

The lowering process must be observed.
During the emergency discharge en-
sure there are no people under the lift!
After the emergency lowering of the wheel free lift
you can loosen the screw-on caps (18 + 19) from
the valves (MV4, MV5 und MV2) and replace it with
the black caps.

Only operate the lift if it is in seamless condition
from a safety point of view.

6.2.3 Without wheel free lift
Before the emergency lowering can be done, the
safety catches (24) must be manually retracted.
When the safety latches are snapped, the lift must
be moved out of the latches or lifted with a suita-
ble device to release the latches. Then the safety
ratchet can be tied back via a cable tie (25) or a
wire (see figure 012). This has to be done on all four
columns of the lift.
The valve MV3 (26) of the lift is located beneath
the left rail (looking in drive-in direction).Valve MV3
(26) is sitting left of the cylinder (see figure 026). To
open the valve, remove the black cap and install
the screw-on cap with the wing bolt (19).
The valve will be opened by tightening the wing
bolt.

During the emergency discharge ensure there
are no people under the lift!
