 For Safety Installation

1. Read the following carefully prior to installation.

CAUTION!

Do not install outdoors.

Avoid intense shock or vibration.

Avoid intense electrical or electromagnetic noise.

Avoid magnetic material.

Avoid corrosive gas and dust.

Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and intense light.

Do not install in the areas where sudden temperature fluctuation is expected.

Avoid vapor or high humidity that can cause condensation.

Install within 2.5 - 6.0m (8 - 20ft.) height from floor.

Install and set up the unit so that intruders will cross field of view.

Avoid partitions, furniture and glass within coverage.

Catch performance is based on the temperature difference between a moving object and a stable background.
The greater the difference, the longer the actual range.

2. Read the following prior to installation and regular maintenance.

WARNING!

Do not wire the unit when it thunders.

Do not disassemble or modify the unit.

Power must be cut off during wiring.

Keep power between 9 - 28 VDC at all times.

ATTENTION!

Avoid intense shock and vibration.

After installation and setup, perform walk test in the protection area to check if alarm is activated.  Mirrors, partitions
and walls with high reflectance may detect temperature difference beyond the specified range.

Make sure no objects will block the detector's field of view.

Use curtains and blind in case the detector is exposed to sunlight and intense light.

Do not install near fax machine, heater and air conditioner as they may cause heat fluctuation.

3. Remarks

Moving objects in the gap of detection zones cannot be detected.

Static objects including human body cannot be detected.

This unit is designed to detect infrared energy variations caused by the movement of human body.
Similar variations in the specified range may cause the detector to activate an alarm. In case the temperature
difference between the moving human body and the stable background is very small, the detector may not detect
the movement.
