SuperTrak™ GEN3 System Operation and Maintenance Manual
Rev. 9 (12-2021)
System Specifications
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Requirements for
Immunity to Disturbances
The following table provides high-frequency disturbance limits in accordance with
EN 61000-6-2:
a. Performance criteria (PC) descriptions are as follows:
A - The system will continue to operate as intended without operator intervention. No degra-
dation of performance or loss of function is allowed below a performance level specified by
Automation Tooling Systems when the system is used as intended. The performance level
may be replaced by a permissible loss of performance. If the minimum performance level
or the permissible performance loss is not specified by Automation Tooling Systems, then
either of these may be derived from the product description and documentation and by what
the user may reasonably expect from the system if used as intended.
Preprogrammed move of pallets showing speeding up, sudden stop in predetermined posi-
tion, short moves back-and-forth and speeding up again, are simulated to show all possible
scenarios of the pallet moves. No stopping of pallets, no errors on the control screen, and
no alarms are allowed during the application of the test voltage.
B - After the test, the system will continue to operate as intended without operator interven-
tion. No degradation of performance or loss of function is allowed, after the application of
the phenomena below a performance level specified by Automation Tooling Systems, when
the system is used as intended. The performance level may be replaced by a permissible
loss of performance. During the test, degradation of performance is allowed. However, no
change of operating state or stored data is allowed to persist after the test. If the minimum
performance level (of the permissible performance loss) is not specified by Automation Tool-
ing Systems, then either of these may be derived from the product description and docu-
mentation and by what the user may reasonably expect from the system if used as
intended.
