Making calls
Turning the microphone on and off
To prevent the other party from listening in while you consult with so-
meone in your office, you can temporarily switch off the handset mi-
crophone or the handsfree microphone.
Ending a call
Press the key shown.
or

Replace the handset.
or
Press the key if it is configured.
Parking a call
You can park up to 10 internal and/or external calls on the
OpenScape 4000 and resume them at another telephone.
There are two options for parking a call:
• Automatic park
• Manual park
Calls cannot be parked if:
• All park positions are busy.
• The park position you wish to use is busy.
• The station is the attendant console.
• The call is a consultation call.
• The call is in a conference.
Automatically parking a call
You can automatically park a call in a free park position on your phone
and retrieve it on your own telephone or on another one.
Parking a call
Press the programmed "Group Park" key. The first free park slot is
used and indicated on the display. The call is parked.

Replace the handset.
Disconnect?

You can also put the call on hold first by confirming "Consultati-
on?" and then parking the call.
