Ethernet-Serial Server MAXI Series

4.2 Download Multiple Application Programs

To download multiple user application programs and drivers to the Serial Server, you should make memory
partitioned and available to these application programs first.

When you do the downloading, the following criteria are recommended.

64K bytes for each segment.

Download one application program at a time.

For example, you will do the following when downloading multiple application programs.

Application

Memory Segment

AP1

code segment=0x8000

data segment=0x1000

AP2

code segment=0xD000

data segment=0x1000

Note:

1. The reasonable value of code segment is from 0x8000 to 0xD000.

2. The reasonable value of data segment is 0x1000.

3. The code and data segments cannot be overlapped.

4. By editing the

‘userloc.cmd’

file, you can change the code segment and data segment value

as you wish.
