10.3 Cleaning
To prevent contamination of the system and the test cham-
ber (SUNTEST
®
XLS+), the water reservoir should be
emptied and rinsed with clean water before every new
test program.
1. Open the test chamber door of the SUNTEST XLS+
and remove the spraying sample table.
2. Connect a hose with an inside diameter of 10 mm to
the nozzle of the drain tap and feed the other end of
the hose into the drain.
3. Open the drain tap and empty the water tank.
4. Dry the water tank well with a clean cloth.
5. Clean with a liquid stainless steel cleaner without
bleach, accessing through the open door of the
SUNTEST XLS+.
6. Rinse out with purified water to prevent cleaner residue
from getting into the water circuit.
Cleaning the device surface:
CAUTION – plastic surfaces!
Parts of the device surface are made of plastic ma-
terials. Solvents can dissolve and damage plastics.
Do not clean the surface of the device with solvents
containing hydrocarbons.
Wash off the device surface with warm water and mild
detergent, then dry with a clean cloth.
