3.5 Transport
NOTE – transport!
The accessory may only be transported by experienced
service personnel who have suitable tools.
3.4 Water supply
To operate the SunSpray in conjunction with the SUNTEST
XLS+, purified water is necessary (see Technical Data).
The water is circulated and fed by the automatic refilling
reservoir.
The water reservoir can either be filled manually or auto
-
matically with water by the integrated flow control. There
is an overflow spout on the back which must be connected
to a drain opening by means of a hose pipe (ID = 19 mm).
The coupling provided serves to connect to a purified
water supply for automatic filling.
• Connection water supply: G 3/8 " (inch)
The purified water must have the following characteristics:
• Conductivity
< 5 μS/cm
• pH value
6 – 8
• max. silicate content
< 1 ppm
NOTE – water quality
Make sure that the water is changed regularly if recircu-
lated, depending on erosion materials from the samples.
Poor water quality not only leads to poorer test results,
but also affects the function and life of the components
in the device.
