The Main Page contains Javascript code that makes requests for status.json once per second. It uses
Javascripts XMLHttpRequest object to do the heavy lifting. Upon receipt of the status.json data the
Javascript code uses the JSON object to parse the JSON data into a Javascript object that can easily be used
to dynamically update the status on the Main Page. For more information please read the index.html
source code located on the Scout MkII. For parsing a JSON data file in C or C++ we recommend using one of
the many libraries written such as JSMN (located at http://zserge.bitbucket.org/jsmn.html).

Firmware Update
Updating the firmware is accomplished through the update.html web page. To update the firmware load
the update.html web page. The Update Firmware Step 1 web page will appear as shown below.
