8.3. Maintenance of exchanger and motorised fans

Unscrew the 4 crosshead screws to access the exchanger and 
the motorised fans.

When refitting, reconnect the BY-PASS checking that the earth connection is properly attached. Make sure the cover 
is replaced the right way round, taking care the closure hooks are properly in place. Screw up the 4 crosshead screws.

Pull out the motorised fan 
units to dust them with a 
dry brush.

Motorised fan unit

Disconnect the terminal strip before 
removing the BY-PASS / exchanger assembly.

Grasp at the sides and pull out upwards. 
Carefully clean the exchanger using a 
domestic vacuum cleaner. 

DO NOT USE LIQUID OF ANY KIND, 
WHETHER WATER OR DETERGENT.
