Adding KVM over-IP Devices
Mouse over the search button (magnifying glass). A list of KVM device(s)
within the same local area network (LAN) will be shown, as exemplified
below:
Select the desired device or simply enter the
IP
address
of a known device;
enter its
Username
and
Password
, and click
Save
to add the device to the
system.
Note:
1. The entered username and password will determine the access rights
of the KVM over-IP Switch.
2. If you select the desired device by clicking the
Device Name
or
IP
address
section, the displayed name will show the device’s IPv4
address. If you click the IPv6 address section, its IPv6 address is
displayed instead.
3. If a KVM over-IP Switch is also added to CC2000 and has
Disable
Other Authentication
enabled on the CC2000, the KVM over IP
Console Station will not be able to access or control that switch.
Click
Reset
if you wish to re-enter the information.
The system will attempt to connect to the device. If successful, the device will
be listed in the device list.
