Upgrading the Firmware (Browser Method)
As new versions of the KH1508i / KH1516i firmware become available, they
can be downloaded from our website. Check the web site regularly to find the
latest information and packages.
Note:
Each time you do a browser firmware upgrade, you must also do a local
firmware upgrade (see
, page 40). If you upgrade
one, you must also upgrade the other.
There are two methods to upgrade the firmware: over the net with a browser;
and from a locally connected computer. This section describes the browser
method. For the local method, see

Upgrading the firmware is an administration function and requires
administrator privileges.
To upgrade the firmware, do the following:
1. Download the new firmware file to a computer that is not part of your
KH1508i / KH1516i installation.
2. From that computer, open your browser and log in to the KH1508i / KH1516i.
3. Click the
Firmware
icon (see page 54) to open the Firmware configuration
dialog box:
4. Click
Browse
; navigate to the directory that the new firmware file is in
and select the file.
5. Click
Upload
.
6. After the upload completes, click the Logout icon at the top right of the
web page to exit and reset the KH1508i / KH1516i.
