Function Settings:
Enable Monitor:
A check box used to enable or disable the monitor function. If users have this function disable,
the [Bypass Monitoring] LED will light up.
Enable Leakage:
A check box used to enable or disable the leakage detect function.
Leakage Threshold (1k ohm):
A threshold value for the leakage detection. If the leakage impedance is lower than this value,
the leakage circuit will be detected and show fault report.
Enable Leakage Open Relay:
Enable the function of leakage open relay.
Leakage Open Threshold (1k ohm):
If the leakage impedance is lower than this value, the fault Leakage replay will be detected and
opened relay, this will result in no audio sound and show fault report.
Leakage Calibration:
If the system detects a leakage fault, but the problem wasn't found in the circuit after performing
a proper check, it needs to perform a leakage calibration to confirm the monitor function is
working properly.
Please note the initial leakage impedance will be different depending on the amplifiers and
speakers the IDA8 processors have connected.
How to perform a Leakage Calibration:
1. First, to get the correct leakage value (empty load), all the cables connected to the amplifiers
and the speaker lines on IDA8 need to be removed. After disconnected the cables, if the range
of leakage impedance is 8.xx~9.xx M ohm during the empty load, please continue to go to Step
2.
