8.22 Use PSS Microphone
As described briefly in the
chapter, the PSS microphone is an advance
touchscreen paging microphone. The PSS touches (Keys) can be set by the user using the PSS
window in DIVA software. In order to use a PSS microphone with DIVA, simply drag and drop the PSS
microphone from the
to the master window.
To access the PSS window simply double click on the PSS icon on the master page. In the PSS
window, you will find two different tabs, one for property settings (General) and one for Keys
configuration (Key).

General Page
Here is a list of what you can parameter in the General tab:
Properties Section:

Name:
here you can set a name for your PSS

Priority:
here you can set the PSS priority. Take care when choosing a priority as the PSS could
be a security microphone as well as a evacuation source.

Access Code:
you can specify an access code, only number, in order to be able to use the PSS
screen.
•
Language:
allows user to set the PSS screen language between French, English, Russian,
Romanian, Polish and German.
