How to Clear Filter Highlighting
The system leaves the filter in place until you close the window or until you
manually clear the highlighting.
To clear the filter highlighting select Configuration
à
Clear Highlighting.
How to Refresh Configuration Data
If you specified a refresh time on the Setup screen, the system automatically
refreshes the configuration data when the refresh timer expires.
However, you can refresh the data manually when you:
■
Want to refresh the data before the next automatic refresh
■
Have disabled the automatic refresh
To refresh the configuration data:
1. Open the Switch View.
2. Select Configuration
à
Refresh Configuration Data.
Result: The configuration data refreshes.
Scheduled Refresh
Before a scheduled refresh of circuit pack data, Fault Management prompts you
for permission to start the refresh. Fault Management responds to your response
as follows:
■
If you click OK, or if you do not respond to the prompt within 20 seconds,
Fault Management closes all open windows except the Switch View and
updates the circuit pack data.
■
If you click NO, Fault Management aborts the data refresh.
NOTE:
For a configuration refresh, Fault Management closes any open
Cabinet View and External Devices screen and their child windows.
