2.9 CPU and Heatsink Installation

This section details the steps of how to install the CPU and heatsink for the FWS-7840.

Before beginning installation make sure the system is powered down and the power

sources are disconnected. Make sure you have your CPU and heatsink ready to install.

Step 1: Remove the upper panel of the chassis by unscrewing seven (7) retaining

screws.

Step 2: Remove the fan duct by loosening the fastening screw.
