Edit Function
When entering your location and time information, you will be offered the opportunity to edit the existing data or use it to
toggle between
+
and
-
when entering RA and Dec coordinates. Simply press the button and make your changes.
Button Rate
Press the +- button to adjust the rate when you are in the Main Menu, Objects Menu or object data menus. Scroll through
the rates with the <PREV or NEXT> buttons. Other menu locations will lock out the +- button.
Slew Home & Recal
Press 1=Slew Home & Recal and the mount
will immediately slew to the home position and
recalibrate on that position.
Use this command if you are not sure if your mount
is pointing correctly. This can occur if you have
inadvertently recalibrated or synced on an incorrect
object. The home position was preset at Astro-
Physics at the park 3 position. The encoders know
that position in all circumstances.

RA/Dec Controls
Select 9=RA/Dec Controls for these options:

RA/Dec Reverse. The +- button gives quick access to this handy feature. Refer to page 39 to learn why this is so
handy.

RA: Button 1 toggles between Normal and Reversed

Dec: Button 2 toggles between Normal and Reversed
●
Meridian Delay. Refer to “Meridian Delay Setting” on page 40 for detailed information.

Flip Scope. Refer to “Flip Scope” on page 40 to learn about this handy feature.
This is a very special position
that is established by Astro-Physics
when programming the Absolute
Encoders. It is highly precise.
