Initiating motor lock
Assa Classic (8000S, 8001S until May -04)

1.
With the power off, remove the “Learn” connector (on the
motor lock), the one with the jumper on.
2.
Put DIP2 in position ON.
3.
Turn the power on, when LCU9101 has started and LED “D”
green is lit the motor lock is initiated.
4.
Turn the power OFF and put DIP2 in OFF.
5.
Replace the “learn” connector in its original location.
6.
Turn the power ON.
7.
Test run the lock.

With the power off and the bolt in:

Put all DIP2 switches in ON position.
9.
Turn the power on, when LCU9101 has started and LED “D”
green is lit the motor lock is initiated.
10.
Turn the power OFF and put DIP2 in OFF.
11.
Turn the power ON.
12.
Test run the lock.
Note! When changing LCU9101, an initiation of the motor lock
must be made.
7&8 should be ->
12V (7 = plus) (8 = minus)
9&10 should be ->
(9 = plus and 10 = minus)
Note!
The voltages on the right
are approx. values
Approx. 2V x number of units.
For example one motor lock and
one reader, 2 x 2V = 4V
A unit with reverse polarity gives
approx. 0.7V
If this would be the case above,
the value would have been 2.7V
