BMC Network Coniguration

Enter to conigure BMC Network parameters.

Coniguration Address Source

Select to conigure BMC network parameters statically or dynamically(by BIOS or BMC).

Coniguration options: [Unspeciied], [Static], and [Dynamic].

Unspeciied

: BMC network parameters are conigured by BMC itself.

Static

: Manually enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway Address in the BIOS for 

BMC LAN channel coniguration.

Dynamic

: IP address, Subnet Mask and Gateway Address are automatically assigned by 

the network's DHCP server. 

To configure BMC network parameters using the BIOS setup, select either [Static] or 

[Dynamic] option.

To conigure BMC network parameters using the BMC web interface, select [Unspeciied] 

option.

When [Dynamic] or [Static] is selected, do NOT modify the BMC network settings on the 
IPMI web page.
