3.3.3 Storage Coniguration
SATA Controller(s)
Use this item to enable or disable the SATA Controller feature.
SATA Mode Selection
This item is for SATA_0~SATA_5 port. Use this to select SATA mode. Configuration
options: [IDE], [AHCI] and [RAID]. he default value is [AHCI].
AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) supports NCQ and other new features that will
improve SATA disk performance but IDE mode does not have these advantages.
SATA Aggressive Link Power Management
Use this item to conigure SATA Aggressive Link Power Management. It is only supported
in AHCI mode.
SATA RX Value
Use this to select a diferent value if the SATA port has HDD compatibility issue.
Hard Disk S.M.A.R.T.
Use this item to enable or disable the S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting
Technology) feature. Coniguration options: [Disabled] and [Enabled].
