Power on
In order to ease and speed up the start-up of the system, ASEM offers the operating system installation service as well as the installation of
any additional application. A system set-up in this way, immediately after its first power on, performs and shows to the operator a configura-
tion procedure lasting 2-3 minutes that must not be interrupted. If the system is shut down during this procedure, it will not be usable any-
more and the ASEM Technical Support must be contacted in order to bring it back to operation.
Warning:
The system has to be powered with a 24V
(input voltage 18÷32V
) power supply which satisfies the requirements NEC Class2 or LPS in accord-
ance with IEC/EN/DIN EN/UL61010-2-201.
The system can be turned on by the 24VDC power supply input (default) or by the SYS OFF line.

turns yellow to indicate the power on of the system and subsequently green to indicate system normal operation.
3.8
Shutdown
To shut down the system please follow the standard procedure of your operating system.
After power down procedure is completed, the system will be put in a soft-off state, the front side LED will become yellow and the user will be
allowed to switch off the power supply. In this state the system will dissipate negligible power.
