Safety

•  Ignite the lighter away from your face and clothing.
•  Contains flammable gas under pressure.
•  Do not expose the lighter to temperatures above 50 ºC and avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.
•  Handle the lighter with care so as not to puncture the gas container and keep it away from naked flames when it is not in use.
•  The lighter must not be modified or altered in any way.
•  Never use, fill or store the lighter in areas where flammable liquids, materials or gases are stored or used. 
•  Ensure that the flame is extinguished after use.
•  Do not keep the flame lit for more than 10 seconds.
•  Do not touch the lighter to the material being lit.
•  Fill only with gas lighter fuel (Butane).
•  Before igniting the lighter after filling it, make sure that the lighter and your hands are free of excess fuel.
•  Use caution, the flame is almost invisible in strong light and daylight.
•  Never touch the burner with your fingers, it can become very hot.
•  Never use the lighter if it has been damaged in any way.
•  Store the lighter out of reach of children.

Operation

Note:

 The lighter is supplied empty, without gas.

Refilling the lighter fuel (Butane)

•  Refill the lighter outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
•  Never refill the lighter near to a naked flame or other heat source.
•  Never attempt to light the flame whilst refilling. 
•  Hold the lighter away from your face and clothing whilst refilling.
•  Keep the lighter lid closed whilst refilling.

1.  Unscrew the plastic cap on the bottom of the lighter.
2.  Set the flame adjustment to low (-).
3.  Press the fuel canister’s nozzle onto the lighter’s refilling valve to refuel the lighter.
4.  Fill in 3-second bursts, repeating until the lighter is full. Fill slowly and do not overfill.
5.  Wipe any excess fuel off the exterior of the lighter and your hands when you have finished refuelling.
6.  Wait 2–3 minutes for the gas inside the lighter to stabilize.
7.  Ignite the flame and adjust its height. 

Troubleshooting guide 

The lighter will spark but not ignite.

•  Out of fuel.
•  Flame adjuster set too low.

A hissing sound is heard.

•  Flame adjuster set too high.
•  The lighter is leaking gas.
