Syntax

set ssl cachetimeout=

timeout value in seconds

 

[maxsessions=

]

Parameters

cachetimeout

A decimal number in the range of 1 to 600. The 
default is 1.

maxsessions

A decimal number in the range of 0 to 100.

Description

This command sets the parameters required to configure SSL.

The CACHETIMEOUT parameter determines the maximum amount of 
time that a session is retained in the cache. The cache stores information 
about closed connections so they can be resumed quickly. The default is 
300 seconds.

The MAXSESSIONS parameter specifies the maximum number of 
sessions that are allowed in the session resumption cache. The default is 
2000 sessions.

Example

The following command sets the session resumption cache to 180 
seconds:

set ssl cachetimeout=180
