Aruba 800-E FE Network Ports
Eight FE Network Ports
These ports are used to connect clients and wired LAN segments to the 800-E
Access Multiplexer. These ports provide 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet connectivity,
and in some cases, power and serial connectivity as well. All FE ports
automatically sense and negotiate speed, duplex, and MDI/MDX settings. See

LNK/ACT LED
Each FE port has its own LNK/ACT LED, located at the left side of the port.
During operation, these LEDs provide the following status information:

Status
Description
Off
No Ethernet link on the port.
Green
An Ethernet link has been established on the port, but no
data is currently being transmitted or received.
Flashing
Green
The port is transmitting or receiving data. The flashing
rate is proportional to your network activity.
