6.1.1. How signal flows through the matrix
With so many possible choices in the Mod matrix, it can be confusing at first glance to figure
out what is connected to what. It may be helpful to follow the path starting with the source
on the left side, trace from left to right until you reach the blue square in the matrix, and
then trace upwards to the destination in the top row. Modulations take a path following the
red arrows in the illustration below:
The above example maps single sources to single destinations. But you can map one source
to multiple destinations, or have one destination modulated by multiple sources, like this:
Each of the 16 mod routings allows up to 8 different sources to be routed to a single
destination, or as many as 8 destinations to be modulated by a source.
6.1.2. Mod Source to multiple destinations
In the illustration above, raising the ModWheel will simultaneously increase the vibrato
depth, and brighten the DCW of both Lines (that is, assuming that the DCWs aren't already
maxed out by their DCW envelopes or the DCW level control).
Macro 2 is mapped positively (1.00) to Line 1 Pan, and negatively (-1.00) to Line 2 Pan, so
they will cross-pan as you move the Macro 2 control.
