8.3.1.1 Set Serial Output Command
The Set Serial Output command selects the serial port output source for a serial port
connector.

Byte Data Field
1 LSB of Artesyn IANA Enterprise number. A value of 0xCD has to be used.
2 Second byte of Artesyn Embedded Technologies IANA Enterprise number. A value of
0x65 has to be used.
3 MSB of Artesyn Embedded Technologies IANA Enterprise number. A value of 0x00 has
to be used.
4 Serial connector type
0: Faceplate connector
1: Backplane connector
All other values are reserved.
Note: Only the faceplate connector is supported. No connector on the RTM available.
5 Serial connector instance number. A sequential number that starts from "0".
6 Serial output selector
0: BIOS
2: IPMC debug console
All other values are reserved.
