MicroSD Card
There are four MicroSD cards mounted back-to-back along the top edge of the card near the
faceplate. The MicroSD card is inserted from the top edge of the PCIE-7207 card. Each MicroSD
goes to one of the respective MCPs. The MicroSD is designed for either a non-volatile storage
space, and/or as a firmware recovery option.
Each MicroSD controller connects to each MCP host through USB port 0. For example, MicroSD
slot 1 connects to MicroSD controller 1 which then connects to USB port 0 of MCP1.
The MicroSD cards need to be inserted into their slots before power is applied to the
board.
Insert the MicroSD card into the slot and then install the PCIE-7207 card into the
server.
The MicroSD slots are not hot swappable.
The top side MicroSD slots for MCP 2 and 4 are under the heat sink, and therefore
need extra care when adding or removing the MicroSD card from the slots.
