Base Operating System
The Base Operating System software contains open source CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511
(Core) distribution with kernel patches to support PCIE-7210 card. The kernel version of
CentOS release is 3.10.0-327. Installing kernel is a one time installation and it would be the first
time when you install it. Any changes or updates on top of it are released as a set of RPMs. This
software does not contain any PCIe related software. It contains scripts to install the release
ISO onto a disk.
6.1 Software Content
This software is delivered as an ISO image with the convention as MC3K_7210
_OS_CENTOS72_DIST_<Release and Version number>. iso . This ISO contains necessary files
for creating a bootable CDROM/USB, PXEbooting, and disk installation. Artesyn provides
software images which also includes the software updates. Contact your local sales
representative to obtain the software.
The following table provides the directory structure of the ISO image.
