Octasic Tools Package
Octasic provides tools that are used for diagnostic and debugging purposes. For this, users
need to install the
OCT-TOOLS package provided by Artesyn. OCT-TOOLS package is available
separately for Windows and Linux OS. Users can choose and install based on the Operating
System they would use for debugging purpose.
The table below provides the available tools and a brief description about them.

of Octasic VocalloNet packets.
ethloopback_test A companion application to the Octasic Hardware
Debugging Tool (OCT1010hdt) for testing Ethernet
loopback.
bin/tool/plugin Contains the diagnostic tool application helpers and
add-ins.
bin/tool/script Contains the diagnostic tool runtime scripts and some
sample scripts.
bin/oct1010 Contains the OCT1010 diagnostic tool platform-
dependant applications.
oct1010hdt A command-line interface that provides debugging
and testing options for various OCT1010 and
OCT1010-ID interfaces
bin/install 3rd party application helpers used while configuring
the package.
bin/wireshark Contains platform-dependant applications.
install.bat Windows installer script for the Wireshark(R) Octasic
plug-ins.
