8.2 Operation
8.2.1 Pairing ALEXA LF or ALEXA SXT W to an ARRI WVS receiver
To transmit video content from an ALEXA LF or ALEXA SXT W to
an ARRI WVS receiver it is necessary to pair the devices. Pairing
describes the function of connecting a transmitter to a receiver.
The pairing need to be confirmed at both devices by pushing the
PAIR buttons. After pairing, the devices are assigned to each
other persistently. A power cycle does not unpair the systems.
Unpairing is not necessary. Pairing the receiver with a different
transmitter disconnects the previous pairing.
1 Select the Monitoring submenu in the camera menu
and choose MON OUT 3 / Wireless video to switch the
Wireless video power on.
2 Make sure the transmitter and receivers you want to pair
are at least 1 m apart.
3 Turn on receiver. Make sure no other transmitters and
receivers are powered up.
4 Press PAIR on receiver until the NETWORK LED blinks.
