The ARRILUX 400
POCKET
PAR
is a com-
pact, light-weight and
extremely versatile
lamphead. A wide
range of perfectly
matched accessories
allows for numerous
lighting applications.
¡
The facetted,
cold-light reflector,
made from glass with
dichroic coating, only
reflects the visible part
of the light. It transmits
the infra-red radiation
(heat) to the sides and
the rear instead of
reflecting it towards the
subject being lit.
¡
Thanks to the special
shape of the reflector,
the beam is extremely
even.
¡
ARRILUX 400 is
equipped with a unique
one-hand focussing sys-
tem.
¡
A drop-in support
allows for easy inter-
changing of accessories
like lenses, scrims, filters,
4-leaf barndoor etc.
¡
Drop-in lenses
together with the
one-hand focussing sys-
tem provide a wide
range of beam shapes
and angles (see
pages 40 and 41 for
reference).
¡
ARRILUX 400 also
provides unique safety
features: Should the
double UV-protection
glass be removed or
break, the lamp will be
switched off instantly to
avoid risks of burn or
over-exposure to UV
radiation.
