2.5.3 Assigning virtual keys to the working field of the panel
Function keys (FK) are the virtual keys of the working field programmed to perform
the communication function or local functions. TOP-PAD-IP2 keys function are configured
from the Administrator personal computer using IPN Config Tool. The basic options for
providing connection setup, maintenance and disconnection between subscribers are
duplex settings (available values: «OFF», «Manual»
и
«Full»,
и
«Priority level». The specified
priority within the range from the minimum (0) up to the maximum (255) is assigned to each
function including the local function “Clear”. The priority may be assigned not only to each
direction of the call individually (indicated on the direct key) but also to the total of all
outgoing connections («default priority» value is in the settings for each unit provided). All
connections are located in the integral field of priorities, regardless of the following criteria:
−
«Armtel-IP» or SIP communication protocols;
−
communication functions, for example, «Direct call of a subscriber» or «Direct
call of a group»;
−
direction of communication: incoming and outgoing connections.
With several incoming calls occurring simultaneously, the priorities are compared, and
the connection with the highest priority is selected.
When assigning functions to the keys, an auxiliary operating mode “Committing” can
be established, in this mode, it is sufficient to touch a function key to perform
the programmed function. If this mode has not been established, the User should constantly
touch the key to perform the function.
A local function is a function that does not depend on the type of either SIP or
«Armtel-IP» signaling protocols and such as «Latter connection», «Increase volume»,
«Reduce volume» etc. You can use the local functions during communication with
subscribers.
